Overview 

The Chaldea Security Organization found in 2015 that human history is about to end and that a catastrophic event is expected to happen by 2016. An anomaly in Fuyuki City that surfaced in 2004 is the root cause of this crisis. Together with a group of special agents, you must go back in time to address this anomaly and stop the catastrophe from happening.

The first step for players is to create their own unique agent, personalizing their name and gender. Players participate in a lot of dialogue that shapes their character's identity throughout the game; however, if one wants to fully enjoy the rich narrative, it is not advisable to skip dialogue.

Mechanisms of Gameplay 

In the turn-based combat game Fate/Grand Order, players lead a group of Servants, each of whom has special skills and personalities. Using a command card system with three different attack types, the gameplay centers on strategic battles:

• Quick (Green): Produces crucial stars to increase the likelihood of an attack.
• Arts (Blue): Provides strong special moves by filling the Noble Phantasm gauge.
• Buster (Red): Deals significant damage in a single blow.

In order to defeat enemies, players must balance the strengths and weaknesses of their servants while making effective use of their abilities. A class affinity system is also included in the game, which gives combat strategy more nuance.
